What Are Resin Domed Labels And How Are They Made
Printed graphics topped with a clear polyurethane (PU) dome—a glossy “lens” that adds depth and protects the print. (We use PU for long-term clarity and flexibility.)
Resin domed labels are made by printing your design on vinyl or PET, adding the right adhesive and liner, and cutting the pieces to shape. A precise drop of clear two-part polyurethane is placed on each piece, and surface tension naturally forms a smooth 3D dome.
The labels are cured until clear and firm, checked for bubbles, then supplied as singles, sheeted, or on rolls. For best results when applying, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, press firmly, let the bond build for 24–72 hours, and use 3M™ 300LSE on PP/PE or powder-coated parts.
